Nutri ninja protein shake blender

Driven by data, run by a passionate team of engineers, testers, technical writers, developers, and more. Nutri ninja protein shake blender’s primarily available on the manufacturer’s website and comes in a variety of bright colors.

It makes okay smoothies and crushed ice in its 16-ounce jar, but you often need to shake the jar before the ingredients start blending. It’s not good for making almond butter, and like most personal blenders, you can’t use it for hot blending. Struggles with leafy greens like kale. Makes dry, barely spreadable nut butter.

It’s designed to be a portable single-serve drink blender and has a light, quiet design. However, it’s not the best at processing fibrous ingredients, so smoothies with ingredients like kale have a grainy texture. Its total capacity is small, and it makes a better smoothie if you work with small batches. If you fill it to its full capacity, it struggles to fully process fibrous ingredients like kale, which results in a very grainy smoothie. It can’t process very many cubes at once, and you need to shake the machine almost constantly while it’s running to avoid jams.

It manages to break up the ice cubes but makes clumpy ice with unprocessed pieces. Even though it feels well-built, the motor can overheat if you run it several blending cycles without letting it rest in between. Its small capacity and limited battery life make it less than ideal for multiple servings, and it doesn’t do a good job of pureeing fibrous ingredients into a smooth blend. It’s mostly intended for making single-serve drinks, and its jar is too small for bigger recipes. It struggles to make a smooth puree of fibrous ingredients, can’t be used for hot blending, and struggles with tough ingredients like nuts and ice.

Revised text to match results updated to Test Bench 1. Updated review for accuracy and clarity. We tested the ‘Mint’ variant, and you can see its label here. The expectation is that the other color variants will perform similarly. The selection of colors and patterns seems to change quite often, so you may want to take a look at the manufacturer’s website to see what’s currently available. If you come across another variant, please let us know in the discussions, and we’ll update our review.
