Cornflake chicken

For this cornflake chicken I used cornflakes. You can experiment with new variations by using different cereals.

Crispy rice cereal would probably work as well, but I haven’t tested it yet. You can also add chocolate chips or dried cranberries or raisins to the dough. Coconut- I used Bob’s Red Mill unsweetened coconut flakes, but you can use shredded coconut if that’s what you have. You can also eat them at room temperature.

Eat them the day they are baked for maximum freshness. How should I store the cornflake cookie recipe? Can I make this cornflake cookie recipe ahead of time and freeze it? Try wheaties or maybe cheerios would work. What are substitutions that I can make? You can use dark brown sugar instead of light brown sugar for a deeper caramel flavor. You can also use pecans or almonds if you don’t want walnuts.

Almond extract instead of vanilla extract would also work well in this recipe. If you do not have butter, you can use shortening for this recipe. What size cookie scoop did you use? If you don’t have a cutter that is the correct size, you can use the opening of a wide mouth mason jar. Check out this video to see the round cookie hack in action! If you don’t have parchment paper to line your baking sheet, you can use a silicone baking mat.

This is what the cornflake cookie recipe should look like after the eggs are mixed in. Add the eggs and vanilla extract , let mix until just combined. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed. Want more details about this and other recipes? Comments Share your thoughts, or ask a question!

Just a suggestion, it would make the recipes so much more user-friendly for folks who have to watch those. Use Stevia rather than the sugars and you’ll be fine. Joy, that’s true but it is too expensive to use all the time. I personally would not substitute Stevia.
