Bears eat meat

Bears can be assigned as a slayer task at level 13 combat by various slayer masters. Bears can be found in various locations throughout Gielinor. Black bears, bear cubs, grizzly bears, grizzly bear cubs, reanimated bears, and Callisto can all be killed to satisfy the task. Those with lower combat levels would find it in their best interest to kill bear cubs, found in the Fremennik Province bears eat meat throughout Kourend.

Black bears would also be a good option, with a combat level of 19. Grizzly bears in most cases are an option if they are close, as most are level 21 combat. The greatest number of bear cubs can be found outside of Rellekka. The greatest number of black bears can be found outside of the Mind Altar.

See here for a list of locations. This is by far the most widespread bear, making it easy to find and kill. The bears are located in a closed-off area only reachable using ranged or magic. It is in a similar area as the Ardougne Zoo bears, but the Varrock Sewers grant access for melee attacks.
