Ainsley rodriguez only thing higher than my standards is my ponytail. Ainsley Slater is a 2020-introduced and all-around character.
Back in Rainbow High, she was an upperclassman that was part of the clique The A’s along with her best friends Avery Styles and Aidan Russell. Whether it’s her fashion or accessory designs, she is sure to blow everyone away with her talents. Ainsley has fair skin and dark purple hair tied into a long high ponytail with two strands of hair at the sides. Her eyes are bright blue, and her makeup consists of neon rainbow eyeshadow and glossy pink lipstick.
For her new outfit, she wears black latex turtleneck top with a pleather iridescent moto jacket tube top with multiple silver zipper details and she wears a black denim skirt with white trim linings and a silver accent. For her footwear, she wears a black leather boots wrapped with white straps and printed with the letters “RH” on both. Her former outfit is black with gold details. She wears a top with gold buckles, gold safety pins, two buttons and a full sleeve on the left side. Her skirt is laced with gold details, including a gold chain belt with gold “RAINBOW” letters around it. She pairs the outfit with black combat boots with silver spiky details. Similar to the A’s, she comes off as a super snobby and rude person.
Throughout the animated series, they just seem to act elite to other students though are genuinely not hostile to any person as far we’ve seen. Ainsley tried acting bitter and mean to Rainbow High after announcing to her former school that she moved to Shadow High but looked regretful afterwards. When Ainsley reveals that she is now going to Shadow High, she and Glitch hug – meaning that they could be friends or know each other in some way. Avery is shown from the very start to be Ainsley’s best friend, with them initially not having much of any conflict. This all changed however when Ainsley added a double focus in fashion and began shutting out Avery, drawing a wedge between them.
While not as in depth as her relationship with Avery, Ainsley is still close friends with Aidan and appreciates him as part of The A’s, best seen by her helping him get his confidence back for football. He seems also hurt by Ainsley’s betrayal. But in Rainbow Vision Finale: Part 2 , Aidan is ok with it and reminds her they’re still friends and gives her a locket. The Storm Twins threaten Ainsley like usual to everyone, they tried to force their way to sabotage The Royal Three’s performance, but she and Avery stop them. Ainsley is shown to be friends with Brianna, Marisa, and Robin who had all invited her to their slumber party.
It is also revealed that these girls set Ainsley and Avery up to be able to talk it out and apologize to each other due to their fight. October 2nd, 2020: Ainsley made her official animated debut in “When the GLAM Hits The Fan”. July 30th, 2021: Ainsley’s official focuses has been revealed in “BFF Blowup! November 26th, 2021: Ainsley’s conflict with Avery is properly resolved, and she also has her first episode focusing on her, being “The Sleepover Society”. January 19th, 2022: Ainsley’s leaked doll listing confirms she’s part of a fashion closet playset, revealing her surname and being a new Shadow High student. May 27th, 2022: In “The Eclipse – Phase Two”, she officially announces her transfer to Shadow High. June 1st, 2022: Her doll and playset is officially released to purchase at major retailers.
Her clothing style may be inspired by k-pop, as her outfit strongly resembles that of members of LOONA during their “So What” era. Ainsley can knock anyone out with her hair just by whipping it back and forth as mentioned in the Episode 1 of Kontent With Karma. She has an older sister named Audrey.
